Cleaning the Print Caput

If yous find that the printed image is unexpectedly faint or dots in the printed image are missing, you may be able to solve these issues by cleaning the print head, which ensures that the nozzles are delivering ink properly.

Yous can clean the print caput from your computer using the Caput Cleaning utility in the printer software, or from the printer itself past using the printer's control console buttons.

Note:

Print head cleaning consumes some ink. To avoid wasting ink, make clean the impress head only if print quality declines; for case, if the printout is blurry or the color is incorrect or missing.

Use the Nozzle Check utility get-go to ostend that the print head needs to be cleaned. This saves ink.

Exercise not start the Head Cleaning or Nozzle Bank check utility while printing is in progress; otherwise, your printout may be marred.

Using the Caput Cleaning utility

For Windows users

Follow the steps below to make clean the impress head using the Caput Cleaning utility.

Click the Utility tab and click the Head Cleaning button.

Follow the steps beneath to clean the print head using the control panel buttons.

The printer starts cleaning the print head and the power lite and the ink lights begin flashing.
